Hello Life is intruding so I installed the new version only after having my laptop repaired (mother board half burned). No idea how this happened. But the new version works correctly... if I don't try to update the asteroids and comets database. When I try to update, I get 'MPCORB.DAT conversion problem, Erreur' and 'CometEls.txt conversion problem, Erreur'. Now when I close this (I tried all 3 buttons and get always the same result) and later close the program, when I restart the program I go back...

Hello Tried it. But it does not seem to work as the databases do not appear when I try searching for a comet or an asteroid. It was relatively easy to update the databases just more manipulations. But as I said it failed. But send the files any way, I may have made a mistake. The firewall as been running every times and in all my installations and never caused any problems. I will try to uninstall and re-install everything later. Tonight I am tired. I will wait and see as I am in the Beta of LMDE6....

Oups, spoke too soon... Unable to update comets and asteroids database. I just get a date/time with erreur beside the update button. No idea what's going on. The computer is connected thru wifi. Regards François Proulx, Longueuil, Québec, Canada
