The mirror selector is choosing deac-ams now and that is working fine. Thank you!
I should add that these URLs are downloaded programmatically, not manually via the web-page, so it's not possible to choose another mirror or select "problems with downloading". I am at the mercy of the mirror selector.
Problem with deac-riga mirror
Thank you. I will monitor if it is any better. I DO link to the mirror system, but I use for example: https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/pinn/os/AIYprojects/os.json instead of https://sourceforge.net/projects/pinn/files/os/AIYprojects/os.json/download I assume that points to the same file, but has the advantage of maintaining the filename. The URLs given above were the final ones after redirection to see if there was a pattern.

I'm also having intermittent trouble with large files taking a long time to download and even stopping mid transfer, but I can't tell which mirror they are being served from.

It seems like a reasonable thing to do, although at first I thought you were going directly from one OS to another without going through PINN by e.g. using sudo reboot <n> like Matt Huisman has done: https://www.matthuisman.nz/2017/02/kodi-noobs-companion-add-on.html There seems to be a few inaccuracies though. which you may want to adjust. I think you mean to write the partition number to noobs.conf. Installed_os.json just lists what is installed. Your video shows OS numbers 6,7 & 9, which I assume...
Thanks. I'll test out the API. My default download normally points to pinn-lite.zip in the project root directory. Recently I uploaded a new file called pinn-33b.zip to my /testing folder, and this became the default download. That seems to disagree with your analysis :-/ A day later when I noticed, I went into the info of pinn-lite.zip to select all OSes and save it as the default download, but it would not change back again, even after several minutes of waiting and refreshing. In the end, I had...
Any news on this request? I uploaded another file to my testing folder the other day, and the site switched to using it as the default download option again and I didn't notice. 30 users downloaded it in <20 hours, thinking it was the default file to download.
Please fix helper script in os/XBian_RPi*/partition_setup.sh
Done. Thanks for informing me.

Tarballs updated now. Thanks for spotting.
That's good to hear. Maybe my use case is a bit different as I always give the latest file to download the same name, and store old numbered versions in an archive folder. However, I think even if I let the system point the "latest file" at the latest numbered version, I may still have the same problem if I later upload a newer supplemental file. (I wonder if tagging a specific release folder may also be necessary for this use case?) The present system seems to work fine if the release consists of...
