Not in hidden OS mode, afaik
The same was said about Win10. This can be mitigated in other ways and it's a non-issue for offline users anyway, so all what's left is to make Veracrypt work on Win11 as it does on Win10. Not sure where you get your rumors about Win12 from.
Windows 11 has been around for a while and some functionalities still do not work there.
Well if you can boot from the flashdisc first, then you won't need to get into bios. Either it can be already set to try usb first, or there can be an option to press something to select boot device, on some PCs.
Lucky you :) Have you tried restoring the original bootloader with your veracrypt rescue disk?
It's Win10, MBR, full OS encryption, worked like a charm for years. Not sure if that helps. Not like anyone is asking for any clarifications :( I see 3 partitions: - 549 MB at the beginning, that doesn't seem to be encrypted at all - the rest of the drive in "RAW", which I'm able to open with veracrypt when in another pc ("mount without pre-boot auth") - 800 MB at the end, which I can't access at all, I suppose it contains WinRE So my thinking was there's something wrong with the BCD, maybe it's...
I can access the drive just fine when I mount it externally on another PC. However I still have no idea how to make it bootable again...
I also tried to run VCFixBoot64, it said veracrypt installed, but version, encryption and bootloader version say Error 0x00000006.
