You don't say, we always update the version matching new one. Like what LIGHTNING UK (ImgBurn) did. We always update new version as soon there are future version, so I always doing. like updating text 24.04 to 24.08, which means the base language goes outdated, so I'm updating it every new version as well, if the people can translate or update some strings. So, I hope you understand.
Before: ; 24.04 : 2024-04-05 : Igor Pavlov After: ; 24.08 : 2024-08-11 : Igor Pavlov The version still 24.04, so I updated next version like what ImgBurn did (after 7-zip releases new version, like 24.08) There's no difference, but if you think there are mistake, let me know.

UPDATED: 2024-06-19 This changes contains minor fixes and with the release of 24.07. During browse of folder extraction, here are comparison before and after: ** Before: Specify a location for extracted files. ** After: Please specify the location for extracted files. The Path mode text is updated, hence the word "pathname" contains spelling errors, just like Microsoft Office, Firefox and Chrome did. ** Full Pathnames -> Full Path Names ** No Pathnames -> No Path Names ** Absolute Pathnames -> Absolute...

You can see this issue that I submitted on GitHub. the reason is there's a bug in Windows Notepad. Bypassing is simple, you will need use Notepad2 (or Notepad2e) or Notepad++. Here's a recap: The solution is simple, you can use Notepad2 by following select: File -> Line Endings -> Windows (CR+LF). For Notepad++, there is line ending option called EOL Conversion. I've tested Windows Notepad every operating system (including Windows 2000, XP, etc), there's a square symbol. In Windows 10 v1809, Windows...

Updating Corsican translation by @patriccollu, according this. Note: I did converted Line Ending from Unix to Windows, hence because this is bug that occurred found from Windows XP (below OS such as w2k) Notepad, otherwise the text file may garbled including such as square. You will need use Windows 10 v1809+ or use Notepad2 and Notepad++ to bypass this.

If you're looking about Windows 8, they have English (United Kingdom) Language. that is released back in 2012.
Correct, Windows 8 introduced English (United Kingdom) language, under name en-GB Language code. Earlier than Windows 7, they don't have English (United Kingdom), and some words are not same in the USA English. So to be fair, English (English) is the default language, because it is English (United States). In some cases, there are various words different: * Favorites -> Favourites The fact the word are added "u" in the British English, this means it is different than English (US).
I need help how to completely uninstall/delete the 7 zip cause its messing some of my files icon, the drivers pack solution and win setup from usb zip files (zip files with .exe extension) icon has permanently change to 7zip icon no matter how many times I delete and re download my files its still the same and when I check the files properties the file description says 7z SFX I don't know why it happens because the 7zip is already uninstalled and also the 7zip file manager still shows in the windows...
I am honestly because Mav said the translation has missing lines, if you think there are problem, maybe the post are here. Looking about the discrepancy, I guess that's the problem of En.ttt and that in mostly missing lines.
Well the version still says 23.01, you could almost forgot update it to 24.01 instead.
Updated: 2024-02-01 Confirm Folder delete text have been updated, including text "If you delete an folder, it will be permanently lost". used from Ubuntu Linux. Version updated 24.00 due for discrepancy, it was updated to 24.01 instead.
I updated the English (United Kingdom) this time.
Here's the English (United Kingdom) language updated. Because the discrepancy did not release 24.00, but skipped it in 24.01.
Updated the list based on the 23.01 - 24.01 release. No visible differences. But the version was updated and there might missing lines.
Please go here if you need translations.

You can use ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver by creating new drive (called Mount New). in case like in Hiren's Boot CD, the drive sets R: as an RAM Drive. You may also select "Create virtual disk in physical memory" in the RAM or use virtual memory from pagefile itself. The Size of Virtual Disk is depends you want choose, such as 512 MB so that you can format it. Then you can extract the RAM disk (likewise including temporary file). If the new version of 7-zip upcoming, it would be nice. As far this could be feature request.
I have also made my concept about auto check updates in 7-zip. Check here. The concept is literally I made myself which acting like ImgBurn. If there are other applications are having auto update such as Glary Utilities, make sure turn off the "Check for software updates automatically".

I just tried old version 7-zip (including 4.14 and 3.11/3.13 beta) in Windows 7, it works fine. As for Windows 11, I don't know about minimum requirement to run 7-Zip, so I'm guessing 21.03 Beta?
the option "large memory pages" would be grayed out if the RAM size is running low (e.g: 256 MB or 512 MB). 2 or 4 GB would works fine, but I don't think for larger RAM size (depending how much according on the Windows system information).
To enable big memory, go to Options -> Settings tab. Check "Use large memory pages" (aka Enable large memory pages in English UK made myself). If there is problem, disable it.

I have tried 7-Zip 23.01 x64 on Windows 8 PE and it works fine, unless you have extract yourself before you do that. Windows PE Version 9200.16384(Windows 8),Processor architecture is amd64(x64) Because I have Windows Server 2012/Windows 8 Install DVD Disc, so that i could run Windows PE under using "Repair your computer" then choosing it as Command Prompt.

I found out there is one English text which it says "Continue", However I made fix to correct "Nastavite" instead.

To be honest, If you have Windows PE runs 32-bit, it will works fine, but not the x64 version. I tested 7-Zip in Windows PE (including Windows 7, 8 and 10 PE) and it works fine. Also yes, it is not Windows 11 PE due for 32-bit deprecation, since it is only 64-bit.
I managed to port it. I'll get into the code a bit more to try to optimize it. I'd like to add a patch to upstream. You don't use any version control system? How can I send you the patch later? Translated using DeepL
UPDATED: 2023-09-19 Minor text fixes, and improvements. Many words "Fichero" have been changed as "Archivo" (Partial) The text message "Las contraseñas son diferentes. The latest installer using NSIS is 7-Zip 15.00 Alpha (I still have it, but only 32-bit version), this was before new installer until 15.05 beta. I have been tried to compile using Inno Setup old version (5.5.9 or 5.6.1), just because I would try to experiment for some reason.
If you asking about customize font, it should be called "Set GUI Font" In Windows Registry Editor, there is can be customize GUI font under View -> Font (only if you running Windows 10 RS4/RS5). See the attachment for example from ImgBurn font GUI settings. Would this is possible work? The GUI font was disabled by default, and it was customized using Advanced Appearance (Windows XP) or Windows Color and Appearance (Windows 7 if running Classic theme). To be honest, here are following default fonts:...
Isn't this is NTFS file system?
In WinImage, the file still supports it when you open VHD/IMG file. WinImage supports NTFS read-only along with VMware Hard Disk (VMDK). For some reason. only FAT/FAT32 are writable since WinImage does support that.
I tried using VirusTotal about filename 7z2301-x64.exe. Apparently it says No detected. but other virus not sure. The only 32-bit version (7z2301.exe) had malicious, I have no intention about that.
Can you please what version you're using? (e.g: 22.00 or 23.01)
In WinRAR, you may notice there is "When done" option. This also affect when you extracting/adding archive after it's done.
Excellent, I hope the new version will comes out soon. You may also create ticket on patches.
Updated: 2023-07-31 The text message "The passwords you entered do not match." was corrected to "The two passwords entered do not match!". This is goes when you type Enter Password and Confirm Password making not match. In the Options - Settings Tab, the text "Use large memory pages" have been corrected as "Enable large memory pages".
If you type in the Archive text box, it is possible by typing like this example: "E:\Backup\Test444.7z" or "E:\Backup\Test444.zip" however if you click the "down arrow" the directory and drive are above and can't change. so you have type it on the Archive text box.
Hello. I have just downloaded the software. I followed the instructions to put a password on my files, but it doesn't work. I'm on Windows 11. I loaded the 64 bit X6 I right-clicked on the file, then added more options, then on 7 zips, add to archive, entered my password and pressed OK. I closed my file and when I click on it again, it opens without the password. Can you help me? Thanks. Translated using DeepL.
Wouldn't this was Compressed ISO (CSO) or Compact ISO (CISO)? Since I might get confused about this.
One question: Would they have History.txt contains Updated localizations? Instead "New Localization". The "Updated Localization" or "Updated Translation" is replaced for new version just like releasing new translated text (which the one of my idea found from WinMerge github releases)
