To be honest, the fact the grid doesn't move with auto-level contributed to my not using OpenCamera that much in the past, seemed like a pretty big oversight to me, but as I kept giving it more tries-it's really the only game in town, at least for camera app this advanced, and full-featured-as i kept giving it tries, it started to look more like a very minor oversight, besides spirals, it's not really noticeable,...

UltraHDR JPEG isn't an option under Image Format for me, I guess it's not exposed on the Pixel yet... I saw the UltraHDR pictures from the stock Camera app, I didn't see an option for it in Open Camera,, greyed-out, or not, and I just assumed... I apologize... Hopefully Google exposes the API, or FW (not sure how it works), (FWAPI..?) at some point... The world of mobiles is so alien to me, I did testing, and we had one of every device, and they did were different one from another, across same OS...

While I'm breaking OpenCamera in on my Pixel 8, while OpenCamera's features outperform the camera app, the Pixel 8 default app photos look a lot more vivid by default, and the reason, from processing time, and EXIF seems to be UltraHDR, which I imagine is consistent in my screen beginning brighter in some regions to accommodate the picture's brightness. I think it's a nice "wow" factor, and I'm not sure if it works anywhere else than on my phone, but it does make for a very nice picture on the screen....
