  Hello, i have issue with the ping running on SUSE linux. i checked the phpinfo and i already have the sockets support enabled. i am getting the issue "Failed to parse address "10.24.2.1" and it keeps telling me the IP address which i am pointing to is DOWN. Any help is much appreciated. I am running the following configuration PHP Version 5.5.14 Apache 2 mysql 5.0.11 Suse Linux 11
