The error is not related to permission. It crashes as root too. It is not related to Wayland and X11, apprently same behavior.

Yes, I installed via: sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines. Same problems in the two cases. It really seems that something is missing and the system crahes whenit cannot find it. Is there any way to list what is needed ? Thanks

Hi, I downloaded the example files and I tried to run them. The file of Part 1 (steady state condition) stops. See error screenshot. The reason is because the data of the heat exchanger are not consistent with what is is written in guide. See Screen shot. If I digit the corret data evething works, but the 50 C output temperature is achieved when the mass flow is 13 Kg/s and not with 7.46 kg/s as defined in the guide.
