As part of my investiagtions into "what could have been", I would like to try out converting certain software to various disk systems using Lerm utilities - not that it's hugely useful, of course. I have tried - mainly Tape Utility D so far - without success as I can't find settings that seem to make much progress. Are there good settings for fuse that will allow utilities such as this to run well with "faithful to sold version" TZX files as input? I know some of this is likely to be fiddly, but...
Separate "load" and "save" tape emulation
Confirmed. Problem there only in Wayland.
Whether Debian's packages or my own compile, I am finding that fuse malfunctions - triple size filter in gtk produces an image too big for the window, and even with double size, some areas of the screen are occasionally whited out or have unexpected text in them. Is this a known issue and is there a fix? -- Phil Reynolds mail: phil@tinsleyviaduct.com Web: http://phil.tinsleyviaduct.com/
I have a CD with a "Hidden Track" data section, obviously meant to contain some kind of filesystem. (The format was also known as i-Track, ROM Ready, and Audioision). It was supported in Microsoft Windows until late 1996, but of course I'd need to get some suitable hardware if I wanted to try that. Instead, I am hoping to be able to access the data in Linux (specifically Debian buster). I can create a .bin/.toc pair using cdrdao from it, including the track 1 pregap, but have not yet found a way...
The Machine -> NMI and Machine -> Multiface Red Button menu options, if used with a Multiface 128 and a +D attached, both activate the +D's NMI routine. Is/should there be a way to activate the Multiface? This is in 1.5.7
