Thank you for the explanation Lee. That is the reason why I created the post. I wanted to make sure I understood the actual issue (apparently I had it wrong). I thought the initial exploit was allowed by the T.30 protocol. That allowed an injection into the JPEG stream which lead to the eventual take over of the HP MFP software. Thanks again, I appreciate it.

Just wondering if anyone on here has heard about this yet if it matters with Hylafax?
