Hello Steeve, I have a similar issue where the port 47809 is used by controllers to communicate. So i set BACNET_BBMD_PORT=47809. For a reason I ignore, if i set BACNET_IP_PORT to anything else than 47809, nothing works. Maybe the controllers are not able to answer on a other port than the one they are configured ? The problem I have is that the bacnet server running on this pc already uses UDP:47809 , so bacwi will not work until i kill the server application because the port is already reserved....

    Hello everyone, Is there a reason why the mac adresse seems invalid when i use bacwi -1 ? Bacwi results : 250000 C0:A8:01:D5:BA:C0 0 00 480 4000 C0:A8:01:68:BA:C0 0 00 1476 20000 C0:A8:01:78:BA:C0 0 00 1476 arp -a result : 00-40-ae-07-0c-6e I dont think it is possible that all my ethernet port start by "C0:A8:01:*:BA:C0" Thanks you,

Hello Steve, I saw that there is an option --mac and --dard on the bacrp. Im not sure to understand the difference between the two. If the bacwi -1 > address_cache is done, is this option usefull? Thanks you,

Hi Steeve, address_cache change everything! When bacrp did a who is, it creates a lot of traffic on the network. On the example below, it did a who is 40000 from ip adress 192.168.1.200, and about 400 bacnet message were generated from the network ! Is it normal to have so much packet rebound? Maybe something is misconfigured. Thanks you,

Hello Steve, On a site, i get an error when i try to set BBMD address : set BACNET_BBMD_ADDRESS 10.160.55.12 Environment variable BACNET_BBMD_ADDRESS 10.160.55.12 not defined Any Idea ? Also, I have many sites where there is no BBMD devices, as all bacnet devices are communicating by ethernet. Is there any way to use bacrp by using the MAC instead of IP for example ? In my case, bacrp is always running on the same network than my bacnet devices. Is there a way to read a bacnet property simply by...

Hello Steve, First of all, thank you very much for your help. You are giving nice support for a long time ago and this is appreciated. I found that the bacrp command was not working because the controller i try to connect was not set as bbmd. I understand bacrp is written so it has to register to a bbmd device as foreing in order to communicate. I read that "Non-broadcast communications (such as reading and writing data values) between the foreign device and BACnet/IP devices are conducted directly,...

Hello Steeve, I think i found my problem. All my bacnet devices and entelliweb server are on the same network, so they are all configured as "regular devices". There is no need to set a BBMD device, because all traffic is going thru Entelliweb server. Why it is mandatory to have a bbmd device on the network? bacwi should be able to send "who is" and "read" commands, all bacnet devices are on the same network and "pignable"? Thank you, Mikael
