I'm sorry, I didn't even notice that. I assumed that the log file numbering and the fax file numbering matched. Here is the correct log: Nov 02 11:49:49.65: [ 763]: SESSION BEGIN 000016199 +12814463841 (logging via thread) Nov 02 11:49:49.65: [ 763]: HylaFAX (tm) Version 7.0.7 Nov 02 11:49:49.65: [ 763]: <-- [4:ATA\r] Nov 02 11:49:55.05: [ 763]: --> [7:CONNECT] Nov 02 11:49:55.05: [ 763]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION DEVICE '/dev/ttyS10' Nov 02 11:49:55.05: [ 763]: STATE CHANGE: ANSWERING -> RECEIVING...
I'm occasionally getting bad fax results, and there are multiple types. Sometimes we're getting pages offset so bad that we only see the last quarter or so of the page, sometimes it's one or more pages coming in as just a bunch of horizontal black stripes and this example is a 2 page fax with a good cover sheet, but page 2 is almost solid black. Here is the output of the log file for this fax: Nov 02 12:05:21.07: [ 763]: SESSION BEGIN 000016208 +12814463841 (logging via thread) Nov 02 12:05:21.07:...
I built a new fax server with a new Mainpine RF6124 card and I feel like I followed the process correctly but it is not answering any incoming calls. I've tested the four lines coming into it with a phone and can dial in and out with no issues, running faxstat shows my modems are running and idle but when I send test faxes to the system, it never answers.
