Should I get the output before or after cloning or is it irrelevant?
Hi Steven, I tested with 20251017-questing and the issue is still there. I attach the logs again.
Hi Steven, sorry for the very long delay! Here are the requested logs.
Crash on compilation, patch included
Some more years later I still got the same issue: When trying to clone a Debian 13 machine with Clonezilla, the swap partition is shown as unknown partition type and its UUID does not match the entry in /etc/fstab and in the resume option in /etc/default/grub. I need to clone a master image to ~20 machines and it would be a PITA to chroot each of them to reformat the swap partition and correct the UUID. Any thoughts on how to fix the issue and streamline the process?
I think, it is needed for the integrated terminal widget (and possibly for some more small things) but the core functionality works without PyGTK indeed.
Hi, thanks for the patch, I'm also looking into getting rid of python2 in Medit! However, as far as I understand, this involves getting rid of PyGTK, at least in the distro I am using (Arch Linux) python2 is a dependency for PyGTK. I assume, the patch doesn't take care of getting rid of PyGTK, does it?
What is preventing this patch from being merged? Does it need testing? edit: I tested it with latest git revision, seems to work fine. :)
