Well.., sorry if you feel that this doesn't belong here, but I didn't have time to look deeper into this and It seemed an upstream cmake config problem, so I decided that this is the best place to be fixed. Emerge and the ebuild has nothing to do with it, since they are pretty straightforward. Now as I had a little more time, turns out it is really a problem with the cmake config of the sources.... : Since KXMLGUI_INSTALL_DIR and XDG_APPS_INSTALL_DIR in src/CMakeLists.txt are obsolete install location...

Hi, Sorry for writing a bug report here, but you have disabled the SF ticketing system... There is a problem with the project() command used in the CMAKE files, especially when CMAKE > 3.0 is used project() CMP0048 policy The second usage of the project() command if the -DBUILD_EXAMPLES=ON is used, removes any previous variable settings, thus at the end of the compilation libsoxr remains without a version (actually with version string "..") on the pkg-config level. This way the configure scripts...

OK. If you do not succeed I will try to find some time at the end of the week to compile platform independent binary archive for the latest SVN :)

The launchpad bazaar link above points to the latest sources... In order to use them you need to compile the Jar file, not to download it from somewhere... The sources can be used with the NetBeans IDE, so you open them as a project there and build and run and you will get the jar file + nededed libraries and a folder structure to run the application multiple times ... But that is your option if you want to compile yourself and you know at least some basic rules and procedures of compiling a Java...

Hi, You do not need that library (libwebcamstudio.so) it was just a compatibility library when webcamstudio was using its own slightly modified v4l2loopback driver.... Later in the development we made it possible the application to work with the original v4l2loopback driver.... So my advice is: 1. Use original v4l2loopback driver (as you already did it) from master of https://github.com/umlaeute/v4l2loopback 2. You'd better use the latest source of webcamstudio that can be found here: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~webcamstudio/webcamstudio/trunk/files...
