I try with notpad, and it works, it also works with the 3 other browsers I had installed, "Brave", "opera" and "IE". I don't think I have an unusual app. It's just with "FireFox", "Chrome" and "Edge" that "auto-type" doesn't work, it seems like it's impossible to type something in any of those 3 browsers, as long as they are not in the foreground Regards Phil

I already do that, and it does not work. Minimize is seting "on" after "auto type" in KeepassI. If I am very quick and I clic on EDGE after cliking "auto-type" , I can see the end of the PSW typing in the user id field Phil

I have Keepass 2.53 also, I send list of extensions installed in EDGE, I have no add-ons, neither keyboard manager. I added a "delay 1000" at the beginning of the process, and it results that the focus comes back on EDGE a little time longer after, that it, but user-id and PSW are not typed into EDGE. but the same process works in Opera for example Phil

Hello, I come back on the discussion, and I can say now, that it is just with "FireFox", "Chrome" and "Edge" that "auto-type" does not work !(Privat or not) it seems that focus appears on the browser after "enter" was sent. it works with "Brave", Opera, even "IE", have you Ideas ? Phil

Well, I tested "test page" with several browsers, and "Auto-type" works with all of them, so I tested other sites, which also work now, I have no explanation for this . And you ? So thank you for your answers and advices Regards Phil

Effectively, I had and I still have plugins, but for the abnormal sequence (different of user id, Tab, Psw, enter) Is is easy changing it with auto-type, and I got used to "auto-type" rather than setting pages for "http" Phil

Thank's a lot Paul, for your quick answer. If I minimize "Keepass" just after cliking on "Performe auto-type" effectively I can see the end of the user id and the psw written on the browser. But I need to be very quickly, even I add a delay before the action in "keepass". In my setting I have chosen to reduce "keepass" just after auto type, but it changes nothing. I can add a remark, the "auto-Type" works with an application in a remote desk. best regards

Hello, I use Keepass since a long time, but on my new laptop, (lenovo W530) the "auto-type" feature does'not work. when I leave the focus from the browser (edge, chrome or other) and I clic on "auto type" in keepass, it seems to send Userid and Psw toward nowhere because the focus do not appear into the browser. is somebody have a solution or an explanation ? merci
