I tried Jambox on pi 4 today and I'm very impressed. Setup was so easy and performance was as good if not better than my (slighly old) i5 laptop running Ubuntu. Thank you.

Hi Gilgongo, thanks I realised I had posted to the wrong group shortly after posting. I've since been in dialogue with Laurent on the Jamulus OS project and he's done some great work to help resolve the issue.

Laurent, I've done some further testing using Ubuntu Cinnamon 20.04.1 On a freshly installed system I ran the 1.10 script, the installation was successful. The hardware test works when I select the PCH sound card. This is great news in helping less technical minded setup their systems. If I select "all" sound cards the test fails as before, freezing on the HDMI card. One issue I did have when running the script and enabling realtime priorities the script failed to install. Bonjour Laurent, I've done some quick testing on my laptop with a fresh install of Ubuntu Cinnamon 20.04. Running the jamulus-hw-check then selecting the audio card PCH the hardware test completed successfully :-) :-) I'll do some more extensive testing on other hardware tomorrow & Wednesday but this looks great. Laurent, As requested see below the ouput from jamulus-audio-check -d -vvvv on an Ubuntu 20.04.1 system after using the v1.08 script. I did leave the test for approximatly 5 minutes to complete after which I stopped it with ^C I've also attached a text file test using the Jamulus OS which works fine. Many thanks............... Laurent, For one of the hardware tests on Ubuntu I left my PC running for quite some time probably in excess of 20 minutes. Is there anything to be gained in comparing the results from the Jamulus OS hardware test which completes successfully?

Bonjour Laurent, I've had very limited time to test today but just to be sure I had no interference from any other application I re-installed Ubuntu 20.0.1 and updated the OS to be fully up to date. I ran the "jamulus-upgrade-v1.08.run" script and Jamulus installed successfully.
