(hmm, message got broken, re-pasting) Ralf, strange new problem came. Initiall Analyze database read tables as "dbo.table name". Today Analyze database extracted tables both with schema prefix and without. Analyze database finds relations between those with schema and those without. Hence we get lots of "new" tables (in fact -- old), and "new" relations (in fact -- old). Those "new" relations are not getting disabled in extraction model = we get superslow extraction. Tested with newest and with old...

the one in Database editor... Table [Edit] Dialog. one checkbox per table. I remember I never checked those. I also remember that I never checked it in Export dialog. Yet I remember I saw errors about merge. I guess, I understand your answer... that I may have seen those "merge after insert" failures. about source table with duplicates -- there, as I remember it, tables are exported in upsert mode, except for one, where I've forced it to be exported in insert mode. bottom line: I feel that tables...

I feel something has changed here. What is the mode Analyze database (the way all my tables came to datamodel) sets? Is there some way to influence that default? I definetely want everything go MERGE and I'm worried that if I'd changed this once (few K of tables presents a certain "fun"), I'm worried what...

Ralf, you are as usual, unusually fantastic. It worked exactly as I wanted. Customer is 1% happier. But it seems to me it's that graph is asymptotic and the bliss is at +inf ;)
