OK, it appears the problem with Geographic View is that Google now (as of 16 July 2018) charges for use of its maps API, and it is unreasonable to expect the Tulip team to pay for that. Is it possible to switch Tulip/Perspective over to OpenStreetMaps to regain the Geographic View capability?
Upon importing two .csv files containing the nodes and links (files that have been imported and used successfully many times before) I get a fully normal looking node link diagram. But upon selecting Geographic View, I get a dialog box at the top of the far-right pane saying: "This page can't load Google Maps correctly" "Do you own this website?" Clicking the OK button in the dialog box makes it go away, but I get a map that says: "For development purposes only" in several places. I assume that map...
