Hi Steven, Earlier I have tried ip=dhcp ip=frommedia and ip= and now without the 'ip' parameter - it booted without any issues! Thanks a lot for looking into this Steven! Mike

I guess this is the problem: $ grep CONFIG_IP_PNP config-5.10.0-3-amd64 CONFIG_IP_PNP is not set this is a newer Debian 5.10.0-3 kernel - Clonezilla 2.7.1-22 is using 5.10.0-2 - most likely same on the older one...
