    I finally resoled this issue. I had to enable "Build IDT/Sigmatel HD-audio codec support" under: │ -> Device Drivers │ │ -> Sound card support (SOUND [=y]) │ │ -> Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (SND [=m]) │ │ -> HD-Audio I had previously been avoiding it because it never mentions snd_hda_codec_idt but rather snd_hda_codec_sigmatel. Would be great if the description in "make menuconfig's" help section also mentioned SND_HDA_CODEC_IDT for the symbol instead of just SND_HDA_CODEC_SIGMATEL.

    Hi, I'm trying to resurrect an old Hewlett Packard Mini 1000 laptop that I have but wasn't using. I'd like to turn it into a tiny internet radio media box, but I'm struggling to get sound working on it. This is a Gentoo install with alsa-utils 1.1.8 Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated. I'm about to lose my mind as I've been working to resolve the sound issue for at least two weeks now. Sound works if I boot from a Debian live DVD, but it's also using an kernel 4.19.67-2+deb10u1....

    Agreed. My reminder emails stopped working a month or so ago and I've had no replies to my post requesting assistance. A week ago I was going to post a "so long and thanks for all the fish" comment, but decided to just bite my tongue. I really do love Webcalendar, but there really is no support. I understand it's free/opensource software and I'm not entitled for something I haven't paid for, but reporting issues might at least help developers maintain and improve the software. I've actually transferred...

    Hi, I'm running 1.3.0 from the GIT repo and my reminder emails stopped working. The emails aren't sent even if I manually run the scheduled cronjob command for the reminder. I've tried enabling error reporting in the command but there are no errors produced. Oddly enough, email alerts when a new scheduled appointment is creating are working fine though. I'm to using PHP version 7.2.22, but I also have 7.3 and 5.6 available, but I think 7.2 is preferred. /usr/bin/php7.2 -d error_reporting=1 ./send_reminders.php...

    Hi Robert I recently upgraded an existing install of Webcalendar and I had the exact same issue. Sorry for the late reply, but hopefully this helps if you are still stuck or want to revisit the issue. I'm not sure what happened so I believe there is a bug in the upgrade or install but using the steps outlined below I was able to finally reset the admin password and then I could login. I first had to delete the exisisting admin account that I couldn't login with, then I recreated it with a password...

    I have resolved the issue. Rather than using a LAN IP address, or the loopback (127.0.0.1) for the mail server in Webcalendar's system settings, I entered the FQDN (fully qualified domain name) that is in the TLS certificate used on my mail server (the SAN / subject altnernative name) and now it works fine. I swear I used to use 127.0.0.1 and/or 192.168.2 before, both without having any issues, so I'm not quite sure what changed to cause my problem but it's probably best practice to use the matching...

    I upgraded from 1.2.7 to 1.3.0 and my email reminders no longer work. When I create a new calendar entry and hit save the web page eventually errors out and looks like this: 2018-01-31 01:55:58 SERVER -> CLIENT: 220 mail.myserver.com ESMTP Postfix 2018-01-31 01:55:58 CLIENT -> SERVER: EHLO webcalendar.myserver.com 2018-01-31 01:55:58 SERVER -> CLIENT: 250-mail.myserver.com 250-PIPELINING 250-SIZE 20480000 250-ETRN 250-STARTTLS 250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES 250-8BITMIME 250-DSN 250 SMTPUTF8 2018-01-31 01:55:58...
