I tested both the newest Mesa build (11.2.0) and oldest (10.6.2) and both have the same issue. It appears that MSYS2 32-bit Mesa never worked. I previously attempted to guess the 32-bit Mesa version included with QTCreator but I failed misserably. Should have used GLEW. It turned out to be a much older version (10.2.8). But even so I was finally able to achieve my goal and avoid the annoyingly watermarked SwiftShader thanks to a performance boost introduced in Virtualbox 5.1. Now the rendering combi...
GCC 4.9 may be affected as well. I tested old GCC 4.9 builds from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/msys2/files/REPOS/MINGW_GCC_4_9/i686/ The oldest - 10.0.0 is not affected, but the newest 10.6.0 is. What's interestingly different about 10.0.0 is that it was built without LLVM, so it only includes the very slowest softpipe driver.
You are using the wrong version, you should use https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/files/Toolchains%20targetting%20Win32/Personal%20Builds/mingw-builds/7.1.0/threads-win32/sjlj/ Mingw-w64 for Native Windows is not multilib capable so -m32 flag with mingw-w64-x86_64 doesn't work, the same is true for the other way around. There are 3 versions of GCC for Windows: - native version (the one hosted here at sourceforge); - Msys2 version; - Cygwin version. Per my knowledge only i686-mingw32-gcc-toolchain...
