Yes, that's the case I have imagined already, thanks. People were talking about using table name when you right click over single-table data rows though. That should be "generally solvable", shouldn't it? And as I wrote previously, it would be nice to have some description of the concrete changes made, so people, in the role of "community testers", can confirm you a concrete functionality in your next app version :)

Oh, thanks a lot for pointing this out, Dimitry! As a new user I did not know there is the "format panel" - more precisely, it is part of the "View -> Controls -> Tool panel". It seems to be hidden by default. Finally, Volker B. writes about a "style panel" in his original comment, so all of that caused this little confusion... :)

Hi Volker, can you please tell us then how can this style flag be applied to individual nodes without using styles?

Hi Dominik, thanks for the extension, it does look functioning. Although my opinion on the setting's default value differs, thank you for having this security option at least. Hi Miguel, thanks for the correction that no new style is actually needed. In my post, I was thinking about a more common scenario (I guess) when one doesn't want to alter existing non-numbered nodes, so he/she better allocates an explicitly named numbering-dedicated style. I admit I don't quite the rest of your message (is it still relevant to the topic of applying numbering easily?), but whatever, maybe my English is still to be improved... :)
