    Tried it and it didn't work. Mind you, I'm not under Windows, and use proton/wine. At least currently. It's rather simple, even basic feature. That's why I hoped to get it, but as dev didn't answer, I can only conclude, he's not interested.

    I thought the parentheses were Excerpt from documentation: Expressions in curly braces ('{' and '}') mean that instead of that Expression (including braces), the user must substitute some string. So, all these brackets, whichever they are, are like placeholders - they mean - "put content here".

    Also if the order inside archive is same as order in NTFS volume, many operations work much faster on HDD with big number of files. Are you trying to protect users from themselves? So default order "by name" is good when 7-zip works with ntfs. Didn't I say?: Sorting by name would be default, as it is now -- Another order in 7z will create unusual order in NTFS after extraction, and NTFS HDD will be slow after that. It will not.
