update: I stopped working on the tracks a long time ago as I ran into an issue with the simplix bots breaking after adding a pit lane. they seem to do some sort of learning of the tracks and as I changed the track afterwards the start to break. Also I ran out of motivation and such but I'll might and go make a track in the near future.
I got the jar file and it seems to have same issues. "In Properties -> Track only the Track width seems to work (I haven't tried profil as i don't know what it does), please investigate."
that causes SD to crash as it's placing the cars inside eachother. (i think)
time isn't an issue, you can get back to that whenever you have time. I just wanted to see if it's possible to make tracks that overlap. Maybe one day :)

so as i'm trying out more stuff, it appears that sd doesn't like over lapping track. exported track as "All" and got this error. But if i export it as a track with racing line it works!
made new track as pit gen issues nuke my track forever. also noticed that if i add curbs to my track that are higher than 0, the AIs won't drive over them anymore. it's very noticable with shadows as they use the wholee track given to them. The start finnish line alining is so annoying, if there's a gap you can see it and if there's overlap then there's other issues. it would be nice to have a sort of snapping feature to help with that.

Hi! I'm using the 1.1.0-alpha 5 on windows, and every attempt at generating pits to my tracks causes them to crash when loading it in speed-dreams. I do not know what is the problem.

Hey all! Long time no see. I'm back and now armed and ready with a newer trackeditor tool by robert i can actually load tracks now so I'll go and make a bunch of fictional tracks. My goal is to get some interesting and unique tracks that work well with as many classes of cars as possible. I won't go and lear blender so they'll be quite barren. But! If anyone likes the track(s) feel free to add scenery and stuff.

So here are the files. ST-1 has all the files and for comaprison I'll throw ST-6 that does not have the files. They both work in TORCS but only ST-1 works in speed dreams.

with TORCS I make changes to the files with modifying a file and then going to the directory in a terminal and use "make" and "make install" but I have no clue how cmake works. on windows I have modyfied a couple xml files and it has changed the game but on linux that doesn't happen and I don't use windows Speed dreams because it dies if I have more that 18 cars with ssggraph and I don't like osggraph because it's missing shadows and skidmarks (also I prefer ssggraphs UI and F11 camera)

But I have very little knowledge about coding as i haven't learned really any language except python a bit. I have made my own robot in torcs and I have made decent progress with berniw's robot tutorial but it's slow and difficult. If you could help me make a learning robot or assist me with my existing robot I would be very happy.

Hello! I'm wondering how much speed dreams differs from torcs in terms of making my own robot. I recently started making my own robot for torcs (1.3.8 test) and I'm getting segmentation fault errors. I don't know how to fix those but I would make a robot for speed dreams if it's similar enough to use berniw's robot tutorial to make one for speed dreams.
