Seems to be working flawlessly. But yeah definitely some weird activity going on there, interesting that the OP had the same exact value. Im wondering if the manual solution would be limited to this particular product or if different USB based devices would behave differently... Anyways, appreciate the support! Once again awesome project man, and best of luck with it!
The USB adapter http://plugable.com/products/uga-165 is indeed the issue. When unplugged I'm able to save profiles as well as reload them. When plugged back in I am able to load the previously saved profiles which do not include this monitor, however I am not able to save new ones, reguardless of whether or not the "USB monitor" is enabled. Im not sure if its at all possible to determine what is going on behind the scenes here but the link does contain a fair bit of information as to how it works...

I would love to have one profile that's just the projector, one for the three monitors, and one for the 1440p monitor only. I plan on using your command...

Result of Monitorswitcher.exe -debug -save:Tripple.xml >> Output.txt Spits back about the same error as before but just without the GUI elements. Output file is completely empty. Shortly after the stack trace becoems visible I get a "MonotorSwitcher.exe has stopped working" Must be failing somewhere before the debug code Wish I knew more about .net to help you out. Gladly cooperate in any way I can to fix this bug, got the thread on email notifications Unhandled Exception: System.InvalidOperationException:...
