    Microsoft Word .docx documents

Hello and thank you for asking. Technically Word documents are binary files like images and videos. FAR can only handle text files such as *.xml, *.csv or, well, *.txt, but not *.docx or *.pdf because those are binary files, even though they contain text. I am realy sorry, but you will have to look for another tool to work with Microsoft Word. Best regards, Olivier

Yes this can be done. But if you are looking for a way to script this actions as to write them down once and then execute them in one go, you will be disappointed. Best regards, Olivier

Hi there, back from my christmas hollidays I'm all happy to answer your question. FAR uses regular expressions by default. There is no special FAR syntax. Just type the expression you mentioned in the Content Pattern box and press Find. However, I'd propose to rather use: <a href="http[^"]+"> (in order to avoid .* extending over the tag boundary). Hava a happy new year! Olivier P.S. You must escape tag brackets with the usual html character entities to post tags in this bug tracker.
