Hello Hans, Glad to hear it start working :) Let me start to answer from the last question. With usage of Java, TMs load, TMX export, word search in the memory go much faster. Also there is no limit of TM size (depends only on the computer memory available). Querying online translation engines such as Google Translator and Microsoft Bing also use Java and not available for non-Java version. Hello Hans, I'm back. In order for Anaphraseus to work in LibreOffice some initial setup required. Please open menus Tools → Options → LibreOffice Writer → Formatting Aids: all 'hidden text' entries have to be checked on. Please check attached screenshot. The error above usually shows up if there other translation session in other document opened. To fix just close all translation sessions. Please let me know if it help. With best regards, Ole

Hello Hans, I'm away from my computer and can check it only at Monday, February 12. Meanwhile I think that text you try to translate contain some special character. Anaphraseus think this is the end of text and show message. There is several ways to fix it. First you can try to enable special characters in LibreOffice. Open menu Options - Writer - View - Check all checkboxes like "show hidden characters". You can find more detailed instructions in FAQ which included in ZIP available for download,...

Hello Alex, No difference in translation v1 and v2 as far as I know. However in my opinion Anahraseus is not translation program! It designed to help, but translator is human, not Google :) This is why I tend to keep translation option off i my work. Regards, Ole

Hello Alex, Click on Button "New TM", choose source and target language. Then Press "OK" and choose name and location for new TM file. After that you can start translation. Regards, Ole

Sorry for confusion, I messed up Impress and Calc spreadsheet. I did some quick research. Seems the only possibility to translate Impress document is to copy part of text from it and paste to Writer. Translate and paste translation back to Impress. If you using LibreOffice please make sure hidden text is turned on. (In menu Tools → Options → LibreOffice Writer → Formatting Aids: all 'hidden text' entries have to be checked on) With best regards, Ole

Hi, Unfortunately it's not possible to use Anaphraseus in Impress because it using text table to keep source and transalted text during translation. This table can not be created in impress sheet. Possible workaround is to export Impress table as CSV, open this file in Writer, translate it and open translatesd CSV in Impress. With best regards, Ole

Hi Johannes, For me it looks like old formatting problem we had with Libre Office. We even have entry in our FAQ Q. I have installed Anaphraseus to LibreOffice and it does not works! A. Please make sure hidden text is turned on. (Tools → Options → LibreOffice Writer → Formatting Aids: all 'hidden text' entries have to be checked on) Please check if this option is set in your config. Hello, No this is not possible because Anaphraseus create two service tables in Writer's document during translation (known as Source Table and Destination Table). Spreadsheets not allow to create two tables inside of cell. As workaround its possible to export spreadsheet as CSV, load it in Writer, translate and export back to Calc. Regards, Ole

Hi Jean-Christophe Seems you deleted Anaphraseus manually but forget to remove handlers. To remove handlers you can use Installation Guide which containing removal macros. You can find these Guides here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/anaphraseus/files/Documentation/Installation%20Guide/ Alternatively you can try to install and remove Anaphraseus using Uninstall item in menu.
