I used/tested some similar software a while ago where an iMDB scraper's language was defined by detecting the user's location from their IP address. I just do not remember what app this was in. @Janne: Terveisiä vaan. :)
Just simply removing the colon (or any other illegal character) would be just as good for me although I do not mind having the option of setting rules for characters replacement anyway. In my case a colon is replaced with an underscore for movie files and folders. Did you mean that you tested this and had the colon removed for movie folders/files but not for collections/sets with the current version or in a development build? Because for me it is replaced with an underscore. I have a single root...
