The portable version does it without special software around. Could you explain that comment? I explicitly stated that I'm using the portable version of keepass, and it most emphatically does not support dark mode -- at least not by itself "without special software around."

I've just started using KeePass (v2.53). I'm running the PortableApps version on Windows 10 and I notice that, although the FAQ (at https://keepass.info/help/base/faq_tech.html#guidark) clearly says otherwise, KeePass is absolutely NOT supporting Dark Mode: I have both the Windows and App modes set to dark, but KeePass is not honoring either setting. Advanced... Yes, that was the very cumbersome method I referenced. (smile) I was just hoping you had access to the initial drop-list so that it might be changed to a drop-down so that we could type/paste into it without ever activating the other tool. I'd though the "Customize" button wasn't implemented yet... Imagine my surprise when I discovered that it activates a tool for themes based of 'Detailed'! (smile) Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I have one suggestion for the theme customization tool: Change the combo boxes that it uses from a "drop-down list" to a "drop-down" that allows me to type directly into the value field instead requiring me to use the cumbersome color selector. First, thanks for the explanation, it helps a little, at least. (smile) Second, does that mean there's no way to change the 'MouseOver' color used in the buttons without also changing something else? As I said, I changed all the 'MouseOver' colors I could find and there was no effect.

I would like to darken some of the colors in the 'Basic -Dark' theme (or a copy of that theme). So far, the documentation I have found (in a 6 year old thread here) says "just change the colors to what you want." Sadly, there appear to be only three color settings in the basic dark theme. FWIW, I'm still seeing this with every update. Also, Edge doesn't want to download the file in the first place and I need to find the 'keep' option there, too. So now we suffer through this TWICE with every update. Strangely, I don't see this with other utilities I use from sourceforge, so there must be a way to prevent it. Any ideas?

Thanks, the new dark theme is OK, though (personally) I would make the tab background gray a bit darker. (smile) I've accepted each update as I was notified and I had seen the fix listed for Hide Icon Text, but I failed to "Read More" not realizing that 'fixed' in this case was not quite what I expected. I'm looking for an easy way to duplicate my MaxLauncher configuration on a different machine. The program I want to launch will all be located in the same place, so I thought it should be pretty straightforward. I found the Import command that imports "MadAppLauncher Documents (*.mal)" and the Save as command, that saves "MaxLauncher Documents (*.mld)" but I have been unable to find anything that OPENS what was saved or EXPORTS what can be imported. If this perhaps just a lingering typo in the source...

The list of changes looks like exactly what I was hoping for, but so far, any attempt to download the 1.24.1.0 beta (in any of the 4 forms) has resulted in a 503 Service Unavailable error. I will try again every hour or two in hopes that it will start working eventually. Thanks again! Thanks, I'm new to this launcher, I've been using Appetizer for the past few years. I didn't realize the themes had such a high level of customization (the built-in themes appeared to only change color schemes). Anyway, I set the image height to 48, and the colors to transparent as directed, but I left the button key font size as 12 so that the 'F1' (or whatever) would still show. Now it looks great! I'll try to find the sensors project, but it was pretty clear to me that the temps for "Core 0" and "Core 1" in the "coretemp" section were the temperatures that I would expect to see as "Core 1" and "Core 2" (or 0 and 1) on the webmin dashboard. But "temp1" and "temp3" from the motherboard section are also listed as core temps. When I'm stuck in the middle with the sensors people saying you should handle it, and you saying they should fix it, I'll just give up because the world is messy and likely...

I did not apply the patch because (a) I'm not really comfortable trying to figure out the process; (b) I'd need to apply it to six computers; and (c) I wasn't sure how a manual patch would affect future updates (I been forced to remove/reinstall in order to get updates of things working again in the past -- not for webmin, but for other things.) The authentic theme just updated to 19.53 and it appears to have fixed this issue for almost all of my systems. However, one system is still showing a PCI adapter temp as an additional Core 1 temp. OK, I commented the two new lines (506/507) and restored the previous 506. Then I asked the browser to refresh the dashboard screen and there was no change to the set of temperatures displayed. Is there something more I must do in order to truly get the dashboard temperatures refreshed or was the browser refresh enough?

The big green 'download the latest version' button on the page you linked (currently, at least) provides 2.14 as the latest version. This is the same version I am using and the exact location where I downloaded it this morning when I started to install webminstat. While continuing my investigation I discovered that the working system is running sysstats-2.17. Not sure why the source forge page is providing an old version, but upgrading to v2.17 did fix it. So I am good now.

It has been seven years without a response, but this is still happening with the latest webmin/webminstats for Ubuntu Server 18.04. Amazing how little folks care.

FWIW, a friend used a bootable Acronis 2016 USB drive to boot the system and clone the drive. That one was bootable. So either Acronis "fixed" something during the cloning process, or clonezillia did not successfully clone the drive, despite what the program reported.

I have an old XP system I need to clone and a brand new target drive that is the EXACT same make/model as the source. I used clonezilla live in the machine with both drives connected to perform a drive-to-drive cloning. I ran in beginning mode and accepted all of the defaults (except for ensuring I selected the correct drives for source & target.) After the cloning was completed successfully, I removed the original and tried to boot from the clone. The result was "Unable to load operating system."...

I am neither reporting a problem connecting to my mail server nor am I (or my users) providing a plaintext password, because we are all aware that is not allowed. All of these messages are attempts to log in to random accounts by random machines. I assume they are trying to hack into something this way. I would prefer to see this as a count than each individual entry. Perhaps counts grouped by user, rip or lip similar to the way failed ssh logins are reported. I run a VERY small mail server (only about 10 users) and I have 194 unmatched messages from policyd-spf listed in the Unmatched Entries section of the postfix part of this morning's logwatch report. These messages started to appear after I upgraded my server from Ubuntu 16.04.5 to 18.04.1. This morning I had an HTTPD Errors section in my daily logwatch report. Unfortunately, it only shows cryptic code values and a count for each (which was 1 for each of the three in this instance.) I just discovered Appetizer and hope it is still being maintained. I'm using it on Windows 10 Pro x64. I have noticed odd transparent background rendering for one of my icons. At extra large size, it renders fine, but at the default size it has a magenta background that should be transparent. I just finished (except for this) migrating one of my systems to new hardware using Ubuntu 16.04.3. On the new system, Webmin 1.850 has decided (despite several reboots and also several clicks of the "Refresh Modules" item) to leave a few of my usable modules in the unused list.
