Well it is a standard server in a virtual machine. The only role added is File Server, and it has been joined to our domain. No other changes. So I have to disagree that installation is "no problem". OK, I just installed the Birfarm-Archiv server on Windows 10 Pro and it installed perfectly. The test Server I was using in the first instance is a server 2019 standard, joined to our domain, with file server funtionality role added. I tried unsuccessfully with a Domain Administrator account, and with a local administrator account. Both accounts produced the same permissions error. I am trying to install the GPL version of Bitfarm server. I have a newly created Server 2019. I have installed .NET 3.5. I am logged on as a Domain Admin. I get two errors regarding permissions: 1 - An error occured while setting folder permission on C:\Program Files (x86)\Bitfarm-Archiv for Bitfarm 2 - "An error occured while creating the shared folder bitfarm-archiv$ for the group Everyone" I also note in the install.log file this error: User "Bitfarm" does not exist!
