F2B creates an IPSET, so you need to get F2B to write into the firewall the offending IP address. I use F2b with Shorewall and know little about FirewallD but hopefully this article will point you in all the right directions ... https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fail2ban_with_FirewallD Nigel. I installed fail2ban, but noticed ssh is not getting blocked for failed logins using putty Ubuntu 16.04.5, Webmin 1.979, Virtualmin 6.16 Fail2ban Version 0.10.2...

The problem you are going to run into is that once the "submit" button is pushed phpmailer kicks in. And the normal ways of checking for "spam" no longer work because for all intents and purposes the email is legitimate. Have you looked into any spam protect for your email system? I think spamassassin might help. Solution #2: Honeypot Method >> Might be worthy of a look. https://www.gravityforms.com/rip-captcha/ Other than that I'm out of ideas. - Nigel dodon dodonon@users.sourceforge.net wrote .....

You'll probably find the best approach is to find a good captcha program and integrate that in with the contact form. Nigel. dodon dodonon@users.sourceforge.net wrote .. Hi I want to block contact form spammers on server side. How to setup antispam filter? I looked over spam email headers and they all have the server hostname so this means the server doesnt block them currently. How to setup anti-spam filter for contact form spammers? Richie, I'm assumming that you can see the share point. I've had these issues in the past, and this seems to work for me. I think the important part (if you can see the share OK) will be how I setup the [Home Nigel Aves Photography]. I use this to copy over nested albums etc, so created directories and files with the correct name / group. BTW - I situations like this, you should have posted your samba configuration file, like that we can see what you have done and possibly just correct the issue....

Joe, I just checked https://joesiegler.blog , http:///www.rangerfans.com and http://www.billward.com and those sites worked as expected. (though I would like to see the Black Sabbeth site!) You might want to clear the cache on your browser, that could be having issues, but from what I saw, the outside world is seeing your web sites all OK. (Or if you use chrome load firefox and see if the problem still exists.) Not much I can do here to help, but if you need testing from the outside world let me...

Good to hear that you managed to get it all working. I've no idea why Webmin messed up. Hopefully one of the devs might be able to have a look and see what's wrong. Nigel.
