Yes thanks, Ctrl and E is helpful but might require two hands. A single key or mouse button is better than this change which has no apparent benefits.

Thanks for the update. One issue for me. Moving the CLEAR CHAT button to the chat window menu means two mouse actions instead of one (while playing). I use CLEAR frequently so the occasional new messages are more obvious. I much prefer a clear button than a menu option.
