Aloha, Peps! With the above clarification, I was able to add in swap partition & adjust it to 10 (using the configure PepOS page on the wiki). I experienced a few palpitations of dread when the machine didn't boot up as quickly as it had previously done ... but somehow Mr. Grub was able to shake it off & move forward. ; - )) Thanks again for the expert & timely support.
Hello. I have PepOS (Debian version) installed on older (2015) hardware. I didn't immediately discover the PepOS Wiki. I now (belatedly) discover why I don't have a swap partition. Regarding the instructions here, I have a specific question: https://sourceforge.net/p/peppermintos/pepwiki/Swap%20File/ Am pasting in a few steps from above link: PASTE BEGIN Add the following text to the /etc/fstab file under the last entry, should be /or the /home depending on your schema. /swapfile swap swap defaults...

Hello. Sorry to say, I was not aware I needed to check that. My thinking was, it works in regular Peppermint. I appreciate the script, if my skills can be leveled up. Appreciation for your answer ... & to all the PepOS devs & team.
Hello, I'm having a serious issue now with VirtualBox 7.0.12. (including properly versioned Guest Additions & Extension Pack). My Cinnamon DE started crashing (total black screen) after installing VBox & creating VMs. I read online about "black screen" & learned the "Ctrl-Alt-F1 / login / startx" trick to restart Cinnamon at tty1. To my end-user eyes, it seems VirtualBox cannot start its "virtual private network daemon" service. (See screenshot.) I did not experience errors while installing Oracle...
