It is just as odd as the title reads. I have 4 tabs open with different drives/foders. In one, I did a search for "tripod" in File Explorer's upper-right search field. I then hit the "x" in the search field to end the search and hit "back" to go to the previous folder. I moved onto the next task and minimized the window. When I minimized it, it popped right back up from the taskbar and the current tab went into a search for "tripod". If I switch to a different tab and minimize, it will pop back up...
I still can't break myself from the habit of clicking there. It's already been a thing for so many years and suddenly my reflexes for recycling bin are thwarted. I am giving it another week or so but likely, if I can't get rid of these specific menu options, I'll likely uninstall and try a new tab solution. shrug
I am using the latest version of the program. I have noticed that sometimes when I highlight a file and press "del", I have to hit it a second time as nothing happens. It seems to be at random as other times I can delete on the first attempt.
Is this even possible? I don't use "other view" for anything and have no use for it. It just doesn't do anything for my own habits and patterns behind a computer. However, certain icons like the Recycling bin, I keep opening things up in other view since it messes with my reflexes. Usually, when you right-click on the recycling bin, the second option is to empty it. Now the second option is "Open in other view" and my reflexes keep clicking on that instead of the (now) fourth option down, which is...
