Sorry Peate, I feel like we're going round in circles - if I 'set the Video bitrate to Auto' (see first pic) then I get the following second pic when I 'click on the Burn button'. I never see the burn dialogue becuase when I 'click on the Burn button' I get the error message: 'The selected video files don't fit on DVD. Please reduce video quality (bitrate) or remove some titles.'

Thanks Peate - I'm a bit lost. How do I 'just generate'? Whare is that function? I can't find it anywhere. See attached pics for the menu items I have available. Hmm, seems I can't take screenshots with menus open - anyway, there's not 'generate' function under any of the menus I can find... Nosey? Nonsens! The 'DVD Resolution' options are revealed when selecting 'Configuration > Settings > Core > HD video: allow (experimental)' check box. It was the only way I could reveal a resolution which was...

Thanks peate for getting back - but... In order to select an ISO or DVD Folder from the default burn option - I have open the burn dialogue and in order to open the burn dialogue I have to select 2 Mbit/s - and there's no way of selecting another bit rate once I've opened the burn dialogue (and it doesn't save the selection in the burn dialogue)... Hmmm... I think Yossarian called it Catch 22 Is there a config to set the default burn dialogue options?

Hi Folks I'm having stange (to a novice) problems attempting to burn a DVD (my first). Attached are screen shots of the problems - the only bit rate which doesn't throw up the 'reduce video quality or remove titles' error is 2 Mbit/s - but, that's while the disk usage shows only 128/279 minutes used... The video source is H.264 at 3718 kbps (KBit/s) see first screenshot. I've enabled the experimental HD Video option because that's what the source is - but, the same errors were thrown without that...
