Thank you for the fast reply! Is that information stored in some variable? I wish I could extract that information without going through each trial for the Bad Trial checkbox.

Dear Joe, After tha preprocesing, is there a way find out which trials are marked bad? Best, Chao

I see. Thank you for the clarification.

Hi Joe, I have an impression that someone/some article said the PCA works best with the averge-referenced data, and a spatial PCA actually enforces an average-reference. But I can't find the source of this infomration. Could you confirm if it's true, or it's just a myth? Thank you. Best, Chao

Dear Joe, I'm wondering how to practially use the values in the "Noise" subpanel in the "QC" panel. Is there a guideline we can follow to exclude the subjects based on these noise values? Best, Chao

Dear Joe, Thanks for your great toolbox. I want to segment the continuous data based on the event marker "stm+" with the fields "cel# = 2", as shown in attached Fig1 (a screenshot from NetStation) My intuition is to set the criterion as shown in Fig2. But the Segment tool can't access to the "cel#" after the event "stm+" was selected (Fig3). The input file format is .set; I also tried the simple binary raw format but still can't see "cel#". I'm wondering how to get "cel# = 2". Thank you! Best, C...

I fully understand. I really appreciate your work and can't thank you more for developing this convenient toolkit.

Thank you so much for fixing that! Now it has no problem for chunking, but I got the following message: Error using handle.handle/set Invalid or deleted object. I sent you the relevant files by email. Cheers. Chao

Dear Joe, I was wonder if there is a command to display the codes that are run behind the EP Toolkit's GUI base when any change is made. For example, we can type "eegh" to display the codes that are run behind the EEGLab's GUI. Is there a similar command for EP Toolkit? Thank you! Chao

Dear Joe, Thank you so much for the great toolkit. I got some error messages when I was running preprocessing, although no error message occurs when the same file was run on another computer with the same preprocessing settings: =============== Input data size [127,329585] = 127 channels, 329585 frames/nAfter PCA dimension reduction, finding 127 ICA components using logistic ICA. Decomposing 20 frames per ICA weight ((16129)^2 = 329585 weights, Initial learning rate will be 0.000134181, block size...

I'm sorry but I still got the same error message after installing the gcc compiler...

Hi Joe, I followed the steps of the "Continuous Data File Example" section, and my controls looked like this (the same as the one in the tutorial): https://imgur.com/Ee64FmO But I remembered that I haven't installed the gcc compiler yet and I'm using mac. I'm installing it now to see if that was the reason to cause the error message. Best, Chao

Dear Joe, I'm a newbie to EP toolkit, and I'm following the tutorial. In the "Continuous Data File Example" section, I'm supposed to run the "EEG-fMRI.mff" file. But after I loaded the file, a window popped up saying "Choose TR event marker". I could not find the information about this window and was wondering what I should choose. https://imgur.com/koOGPuP Thanks in advance for your help. Chao Han
