Program doesn't start with Windows 10

Starting with Windows also doesn't work at all. It doesn't start with Windows. I even put a shortcut to the .exe in my Startup folder. Nothing works.

God this is so frustrating. Why would the beep only work when the monitor speakers are the default audio device? That makes no sense.

I discovered this program several days ago and it was working great. Now, I no longer get the "beep/boop" in my headphones when I toggle. The icon is changing color so I know it is working. The notification is turned on in settings. The beep just doesn't come. If I change output device to my speakers, the beep comes back. But not in my headphones. Program is basically useless without headphone notifications. What is causing this?

I see lots of support to convert from WAV, but what about to WAV? I can't use FLAC files in video editing software. I want to go from FLAC to WAV with no quality loss. I thought maybe the WavPack thing would work, but the .wv file ended up being the same size as the FLAC. Shouldn't it be about 50% larger?
