Dear all, Does anyone have an idea why Revit is not able to export any kind of surface area or length for geometries with IfcArbitraryProfileWithVoids definition? I have tried all exports CV2.0, DTV and RV, all of them just export GrossVolume quantity for the particular columns in Revit structures sample project. Hello Mr. Weel, I have a similar problem with incomplete properties for some columns. But I narrowed my problem down to IfcArbitraryProfileWithVoids def. The columns with this profile Def are just exported with GrossVolume property but all other Columns also have Length, CrossSectionArea and OuterSurfaceArea. May be you can also narrow your problem down and repot here? Anyway, I have just posted my issue in the forum, let us see if I get a reply. Regards

Hello Guys, I am a new comer to the programming field and the configurations confuse me the most. I tried to understand the above but no luck. Can someone please help me with easy steps on how I can get the IFC4ADD2 configured IfcOpenShell-python files? Also is python interface as powerful as C++. Can I convert all geometries to Brep and calculate Element quantity from Ifc geometry using python? Thank you in advance.
