It seems that the latest trunk compiles normally on Debian Bullseye GNU/Linux! It fail when building .chm help files, but the fmslogo binary is produced normally and at cursory glance seems to work! I didn't notice it was implemented mentioned in the ticket... If that is the case that FMSlogo now officially supports other OSs, perhaps description at https://sourceforge.net/projects/fmslogo/ should also be updated
