Hi Meera, MUSIC calculates the particle density in momentum space, which is what the Cooper-Frye formula gives. You can think of this as a continuous probability distribution for the emission of particles (calculated on a discrete grid in momentum space, but with built-in functions to interpolate or integrate in an arbitrary region).
