In the mentioned JRockit version,the JDK used is JDK6. I am asking you because I faced the same issue while using JGroups 3.6.3 with JDK6. Can you suggest which JGroups version will be compatible with this?

No, this is not the case. I am compiling with JDK6. JGroups 3.6.3 works fine with JDK7. But the issue comes with JRockit version R28.2.5-20-152429-1.6.0_37-20120927-1915-solaris-sparcv9 . I am getting the following error: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: org/jgroups/Receiver : unsupported classversion 51.0
