After you changed the password the first time, did you attempt to mount the hidden volume? Yes. When you changed the password the first time, exactly why do you state the password change did not seem to work? I think when I try to mount it, the new password should be correct but the UI seems to say my password is incorrect, and thus I can't mount the hidden volume. ( I used the "Auto-Mount Devices" as I always do) But let's assume I just enter the password incorrectly, as I can't revoke to that stage...

I'm using VeraCrypt 1.25.9 and configured a hidden volume. Today, I feel like changing the password, so I unmounted, selected the device, and did the password change. The password change didn't seem to work, I had no idea and changed again to the original password. Now, the volume can be mounted, but it is empty. Is it normal? Is there any way to recover the data? Which step did I do wrong? As a suggestion, in the password change screen, there should probably be a warning to ask me to backup all...
