I was curious about reading that other networked music performance experimental software applications are using uncompressed audio stream. Is this possible with Jamulus? I'm wondering if a band living in the same city (I live in Milan for example) and with the latest fiber technology available to all the bandmates can take advantage of using uncompressed audio to avoid compression/decompression on both the clients and the server, thus reducing the overall delay
VOTE: llcon Thanks to Jamulus I can od what I thought it was no longer possible for me in tehse days: play with my bandmate! Thank you Volker
Hello, I would like to test Jamulus, but I connected to the central server and no user was connected. I also saw only a couple of servers available with latency higher than the one recommended (40ms). Is there anyone in Italy who is willing to test jamulus in Milan area? We could setup a server a give a try.
