Sounds good, thanks! On Wed, Jan 20, 2021 at 2:13 AM Luke S ljsails@users.sourceforge.net wrote: Short answer: As soon as someone gets around to building one. Recently i posted to build a game engine with AOI but after some research i found that it is very difficult work. So, i think there should be an exporter for AIO so, the best free modern exporter with Java binding is GLTF2. As Jmonkeyegine 3.3xx is supporting the GLTF2. when would we able to get an exporter for art of illusion with animations and materials ? An Exporter will promote AOI as many game developer may try AOI but the leave it because of lack of exporter support with animations.
I understand ☺️☺️☺️. I will use Jmonkeyengine for Java game development. I will be very happy if you build a GLTF exporter for AOI. Yes i have decided to switch to jmonkeyengine. Please build a gltf exporter with animation and all other stuff needed for an exporter like FBX or 3dx.
I know what you are saying lets see what i can do.
I need a complete game engine and art of illusion may be a good choice because Java is my Favorite language. I will post updates regarding this project. And I will took it as a hobby. And i know it is hard. I will do my best. Lets see what happens see you soon.
I am planning to building a game engine using a new render engine in Art of Illusion. Means that i am going to use the source code to develop a game engine in which i will using LWJGL3 with AOI so i will have a complete tool to develop indie games in future. "Sorry for my bad English !! "
