Thanks again Giuseppe for your answers. I'm 350km away from GRAVES radar, I will try automatic thresholds. The laptop is old and discharged quickly without his battery, but I will do some tests. Here are the screenshots, For the fake signals : num. 505 is a tiny peak, happen time to time num.0081 is harder for me to explain but happens more often num.325 happens when the power curve is getting erratic, and it can trigger multiples shots, those are annoying and most of my fakes shots are like these. I plugged the SDR, its still working. I dont know why it was disabled this morning. For the good shots here are some (but I'm not shure if its meteors scatters...) num37-73-91. Max

Thanks for your answers. Automatic mode is now running for about 2 days and i think i found "good" parameters. Set the peak behavior in diffenrential mode, with a upper treshold at 16.5 dbfs and lower at 14 dbfs, based on the peaks i got. I got some good shots, but I also get a lot of fake shots. From time to time my peak power curve is getting erratic and trigger shots. Also my SDR dongle is very hot and this morning the peak power curve was completely flat. This is the model I'm currently using...

In my screenshots the range si from -170 to +25 and crushed. I think that if I change the scale it will be easier to define brightness and contrast settings. Another question about the antenna, does the length of the cable influence the signal ? I use a 5 meter cable and if I want to get away of the metal barrier (and recover some space on...

I don't know why my color VS dbs scale is graduating from -170 to +25 and i still have the top region of the color scale unused (no number superior to +25 in the scale). In the diffents screenshot in other topic the graduation at the top is +25. I think i got some meteor shots but it's still hard to see them clearly in the waterfall. How can i...

I answer to myself about some questions after reading the manual one more time :) RTFM ! I think i got some meteor shots but it's still hard to see them clearly in the waterfall. How can i make them bigger ? Changing "Downsampled BW" from 2 048 000 to a lower one allow me to set a frequency ruller more precise. Or maybe set a slower waterfall covering ? But even if i change the FFT points from 32768 to a higher value the waterfall covering is still around 26sec I change the "Refresh interval requesting"...

I modified the placement of the antenna and put it on a tripod The issues i have is with the brigthness, when i raise it (80+) its all white. So i now use a value of 52, its not completely black. Or i adjust with the contrast but i do not find the correct setting for now. The automatic mode seems to run correctly, but at some moment the upper and lower threshold change to , for exemple, 15-12 to -0.9/-0.8. and the mention CAPTURING...
