Hello, I would strongly suggest to put the UAC tip ie. recommended installation path not just at the end of the installation section in the help file, but if possible directly into the setup routine. I had the same problem as the original poster here: installations on Win 8.1 64b either to \Program Files or \Program Files (x86) made the software always hang on splash screen, without ever even displaying a tray icon, from the second time on when trying to start it. Not getting a working installation...
