Hi Gary, thanks for your response. I have also thought about a workaround, and come to the solution that what you are suggesting is the most viable solution. The BackUpSoftware offers the option to create a desktop shortcut, which again has the option to define what sould happen after completion (in this case: shutdown). Therefore, the users will just have to click the desktop shortcut in order to shut down the machine (I will diasable the normal shutdown button for higher compliance).

I want to automatically save backups to an encrypted file container located on a network disk during logout/shutdown, using Windows 10 Pro.
