Thanks Daniel. BIP parameters also returns to zero when I close and reopen the file. Best!
Hi, I have a problem in PRSV2 because the kappa values return to default. I wanted to modify them to compare with traditional PRSV. According to what I saw on github I was trying to make k2 very small (1e-9 for example).

Hello, to subcool I recommend adding another cooler after the condenser. It is convenient to use the calculation type "temperature change" with a value of -3 for example. best
great!
Hi Daniel, sorry, you're right. The piping segment UO does not calculate the pressure drop. I don't have the case to upload because I went back to version 6.6.0 to teach an example. Best

Hello, I just installed version 6.6.1 and the piping segment does not work. Anyone having the same problem? thanks
In version 5.3 it appears again available. Bye!
Hi, I have noticed that in the latest versions the initial estimates checkbox does not appear. Is it an error or is this option not available anymore?

I used Python UO to solve this problem. Its implementation in simple because I am not python user. Thanks Again!
Hi Daniel, I discovered it after posting. When I solve a similar problem manually, the sequence I use is: - Hout from the power input - Hisout from efficiency deffinition - Pou and Tisout from a 2x2 system of equations. Sisout = f (Tisout, Pout, composition) Hisout = f (Tisout, Pout, composition) - Tout from outlet stream enthalpy Nomenclature Hout: outlet stream enthalpy Hisout: isentropic outlet stream enthalpy Sisout: isentropic outlet stream entropy (equal to the input entropy) Pout: outlet pressure...
I looked the manual in more detail and I think it's because of the calculation sequence used by the unit. Thanks
Hello, when changing the calculation type in the compressor the results are not the same. Calculation type: Power requirement (40 kw) oulet pressure 6.91 bar Calculation type: oulet pressure 6.91 bar Power requirement (36.068 kw) For the first case, if I calculate manually (the power requeriment) it does not coincide with the specified 40 kw. Am I wrong? Bye!

Yes of course, I understand. So, everything is ok. Thanks!
Hi, the composition of the output stream does not exactly add up to 1. Since the minimum reflux is different from the one I get with chemsep, I thought there was an error. Maybe it's my mistake and it's just different results. Thanks Again!

Hello, I have a question about the shortcut distillation In this case the composition of the output stream do not sum 1 What is the problem?
ok Thanks..
"energy stream" calculation type in a cooler
Yes, i use ChemSep without problems but we are introducing your simulator in our course. For teaching I prefer stay only in DWsim. Thanks!
ok. I will try to use the native distillation collum with full reflux condenser Thanks!
I was able to make it work. What is the problem with the native distillation collum?
Ok, i'm testing... Thanks You!
I can't find the chem sep column.
Distillation column does not meet the mass balance
I solved it using a Reboiler absorber and a initial temperature profile.
Hi, Im trying to use a column distillation with a full reflux condenser but when i define all stream appear this error: "One or more streams specified in the column connections window is missing. Please check input data and try again" If I put a partial condenser and connect any stream to the condenser and came back to the full reflux the column try to solve but can't converge Bye

I'm using without any problem. Sincerely I like more the classical UI. I'm making tutorials for teach in my course. Thanks a lot!
No problem, thanks to you.
Hi, I have the same problem (but in windows 7). I can not use the classic UI and the new interface works slow and with some problem.
