The new firmware version of ST-LINKV2-1 is V2J28M18 and could be downloaded here http://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-link007.html

I used to be able to run mecrisp happily until I upgrade the firmware of ST-LINKV2-1. Interactive operations seem to be fine. However, uploading Forth source files would hang the serial communication after some bytes sent. I've tested msend and folie and got the same results. Other boards like STM32F429 Discovery doesn't have such problems.
