The problem was fixed after downloading a csv file from Scopus again. I repeated everything as I used to but this time it worked. I guess Scopus might have some issues.

I will try to specify all the steps I took: 1. downloaded RIS file from Scopus 2. converted the file in Citespace (input (data) file was named as per the formula - download_* .txt) 3. created a new project; saved it and tried to run it (indicated the folders respectively) 4. the result: no nodes/links found I repeated all the above steps but this time with CSV from Scopus (as I saw one of Dr. Chen's comments on forum that RIS is not working properly on Scopus, and we can try to convert...
