Ok, I managed to install TILP2 and it says, it is Version 1.19 and I put the libticables.rules file to the udev-folder. The script is really well done - even I understood your explanations and error messages :) But the problem remains: The calculator is found and I can read from it. But I can't send files, or, well, it once worked - but then nothing again. Not as root, not as user :( Any ideas?
I have had a look to my installed programms and found, that "git" was not correctly installed. Now your script was running :) until checking for ARCHIVE... no configure: error: Package requirements (libarchive) were not met so I have to set the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable. I try that later.
Thanks for your fast answer :) I uninstalled Tilp2 an downloaded your script. When I run it (as su), I get an error message: line 115: git: command not found line 115 says: git clone "https://github.com/debrouxl/$module_name" "$module_name" || return 1 I'm sorry, I am totally new to this, never tried to install software that way. I used the script without changing anything.

As I can see, the files are the newest to get (TILP 1.17, ticables 1.3.4, tifiles 1.1.6, ticalcs 1.1.8). I use the USB-cable coming with the calculator, but as it seems, that cables are one source of problems, I used three other types (a black, gry and a silver one), With all of them I have problems. I start TILP as su, but the problems are the same as as user: First, Tilp...
